Board Recruitment

Hello literacy stakeholders,

Raising literacy levels in Alberta takes lots of effort! As we work to fulfill our mission, the Board of Literacy Alberta needs an understanding of literacy from the learner’s perspective. Therefore, we are looking once again for two learners to share their talents by serving a one or two year term with us.

While all qualified and interested learners are welcome to apply, at this time we are particularly interested in recruiting to the board a learner who has advanced through a literacy program and is continuing in a higher learning situation. We also would like a more geographically diverse board; we welcome applications from across the province.
